[QSB-grads] W-STEM - Welcome Event and Mentorship program

Good Morning SNS!


I currently serve as the Grad. President of Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (W-STEM) and am writing to inform you of our mentorship program. Throughout the year we hold invited speaker events, diversity panels, and professional development workshops- all with refreshments!


Our flagship program is our mentorship program. We have members across all axes of academia (faculty, postdocs, grads, and undergrads) that participate in this program. We aim to pair mentors-mentees to achieve our goal of increasing diversity in STEM fields. We are particularly looking for grad mentors!


This program is a great way to enhance your mentorship experience outside of research and find additional support through grad school.


After your seminars stop by our welcome event today in SSB 120 from 3:30-5:00 and we will have PIZZA! Come by to see what our mentorship program is about!
