[QSB-grads] Chem Exam this Thursday 12-5PM, SSM 317 (Half Dome)

Dear Students,
The Chem Exam is rapidly approaching.  It will be this Thursday from noon
until 5:00 PM in the Half Dome Room (SSM 317).

You can show up anytime before 3:00 PM.
If you would like to take both Gen Chem and Organic Chem Exams, please show
up around noon because both Exams take 2 hrs each.

This will be a timed test.

You must bring the following:
A calculator that has no camera associated with it (No cell phone
calculators)

A #2 pencil to fill out the scantron sheets

To pass the exam, you must score in the 50th percentile or higher.  This
scoring system is developed by the ACS on national tests results.

Once you have passed the exam you need not retake it in future years.  You
will remain qualified to TA chem.

If there are study guides remaining at the front desk in SE1 270, you
should check them out and study for the exam.

We may be short on TAships by ~30.  There is a very real probability of
many students going unfunded next year.  Passing the Chem exam greatly
increases your ability to obtain TAship funding.
