Dear Colleagues,



This is a reminder that UC Research Initiatives will hold two webinars this
week for prospective applicants to the 2018 UC National Laboratory Fees
Research Program (LFRP). Participation in the webinars is encouraged, but
not required, for those submitting applications.



   - *April 26, Noon*: Webinar for the multi-institution Collaborative
   Research and Training awards in 3 targeted areas (climate science,
   cybersecurity, and national security through social sciences)
   - *April 28, Noon*: Webinar for the In-Residence UC-NL Graduate
   Fellowship program

In addition, the Vice Chancellors for Research are organizing workshops in
the three areas targeted by the Collaborative Research and Training awards.
The workshops are intended as a forum to discuss compelling research
directions for potential collaborators, however please note attendance is
not a requirement or prerequisite for submitting a proposal.
