[UCTK Residency Partners] Updates for UCTK

Hello,
Attached are some updates about information we are using to inform potential candidates and districts about the UCTK offering.

  *   CSET Test Prep info (attachment)
Only $150 for 12 months access to personalized study plan for any CSET or teacher exam, 1-on-1 coaching, UCM TPP application fee waiver, and priority admission decision with passing scores. Open to any prospective or current TEP candidate seeking to pass CSETs, CTEL, CBEST, or RICA.

  *   UCTK flyer (attachment)
If a localized flyer is preferred, please contact us so that we can coordinate with our marketing specialist. All programmatic flyers must be approved by UCM TPP where credential information is listed.

  *   Updates regarding info sessions vs. webinar
UCM TPP is bringing a new strategy to our info sessions with pre-recorded, on-demand info sessions covering the logistics and technical components of the residency program and the multiple subject credentials. In addition, 60-90 minute webinars are scheduled up until April which will focus on "becoming a TK teacher" covering all topics from being successful in a residential program, credential program, TPEs, finding a job or placement site, and more.

  *   Targeted partnerships with COEs in CV
We are working with COEs in the CV and collaborating on best practices for Teacher Residents.  Local COEs will focus on placed-based support and occasionally include additional enrollment incentives. Priority enrollment is given to Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Merced for up to their 20 slots. We are happy to share as we develop our processes.

  *   Strategy for hot leads
Last cohort, we purchased over 150,000 names with high intent to enroll in the particular regions that were used to source leads via social media, website, and targeted communications. Email communications will continue as previously to those opted in. We generated over 200 hot leads that did not enroll in the program, primarily due to verification of subject matter competency. These leads will be retargeted with the new support resources.

  *   Local recruitment support
Our target this summer 2025 cohort is 60 residents with the flexibility of up to 115 residents. While UCM will provide overarching recruitment efforts (info session, webinar, social media, etc.), we present the opportunity for localized flyers, local or place-based webinars or info sessions, warm hand-off of leads generated locally, and are open to other ideas to support effective recruitment and yield.
