[UCM-Student-Success] Message to UC Merced Student Success Listserv: AAC&U Employer Survey

Colleagues: Good afternoon!

In her message to the Student Success Listserv, Alisha Kimble noted that listserv members can expect to share and receive resources related to student success. I write to share some information related to student success I hope you will find useful and/or interesting.

The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) sponsors periodic national surveys of employers about key college outcomes, preparation of students for work, etc. The most recent survey was conducted in 2018. I think these surveys provide interesting perspectives on the experiences and outcomes of undergraduate education, perspectives that can have implications for programs, policies, and practices for student success. As background, AAC&U describes itself as "A Voice and a Force for Liberal Education in the 21st Century."
