Fatima, Robin and LeRoy - From time to time we have talked about UC Merced strengthening our relationship in the community. I am writing today to provide information on a UC Merced community service initiative. UC Merced is partnering with the City, County and other community organizations on a park clean up project. The event will kick off on Saturday, October 9th at Meadows & Loughborough and will run from 8:00am to 11:30 am - please see the attached flyer. We need help recruiting students, faculty and staff to participate. We will promote this in Monday Memo and ICYMI, but would also appreciate it if you could help us notify interested faculty about this opportunity.
