*Executive Officer, North Coast Water Quality Control Board*

The North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board is soliciting
applications for an experienced environmental leader to serve as Executive
Officer. The Executive Officer leads a technical and administrative staff
of over 95 employees, working under the direction of a seven-member
governing board appointed by the Governor. In addition to overseeing the
work of the agency, the Executive Officer represents the Regional Water
Board in public forums and collaborates with local, state, tribal, and
federal agencies related to water quality and environmental protection. The
Board works across several North Coast counties – Del Norte, Glenn,
Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Siskiyou, Sonoma, and Trinity
Counties.



The position requires skilled and experienced leadership, a collaborative
and inclusive work and management style, dedication to environmental
protection and sustainability, the ability to analyze and synthesize
complex information, and excellent communication skills. The position is
based in Santa Rosa, California.



Pay Range: $15,857.00 - $16,105.00 per month
