Yosemite California Naturalist Course, October 24-31, 2021
Yosemite Field Station invites YOU to a Yosemite California Naturalist
<http://calnat.ucanr.edu/> course Oct 24-31, 2021 at Emerald Cove Outdoor
Science Institute in Bass Lake. This is a full 7-day week of learning
geology, forests, water, and animals of the Sierra! Oh, did I mention
October is “Bat Month” and yes, we will be having bat experts come and talk
to us? Speaking of experts, you will learn from many experts like Greg
Stock, the guy who literally “wrote the book” on Yosemite geology! Many
voices from various backgrounds will fill out the instruction team
including: the Mono Tribal Chairperson, present field researchers,
professors, and experienced presenters. Participants will come away with a
new understanding of the bioregions of California, especially the Sierra
Nevada Range. Share the registration info with friends who are ready to
experience Yosemite in the Fall. Join us to add new friends to your nature
tribe, increase your knowledge, earn your California Naturalist
Certificate, and 4 university credits.
The Yosemite California Naturalist course is $1,600 and includes delicious
meals, lodging, lectures, field trips, a UC California Naturalist
Certificate and enjoyable company with your new tribe of witty,
intelligent, nature-nerdy friends, and exceptional leaders.
