Hello all,
The Moran lab is pleased to host Dr. Johanna (Annie) Schmitt of UC Davis for the QSB Seminar Series on Friday, February 10th.
Dr. Schmitt is an expert in the molecular ecology of plant adaptation and general plant evolution, with a primary focus on climate change response in Arabadopsis thaliana. She's doing super interesting work looking at genetic controls on plant stress response, and we are excited for her visit.
We will be having a grad student lunch with Dr. Schmitt from 10-11:30am (second breakfast?!) in COB 2 290.
RSVP is required for a catered lunch with speaker.
Please let me know if you are interested in attending this lunch meeting, by this Friday, February 3rd at noon by emailing me directly or replying to this email.
