Dear QSB:
Forwarding info about Grad Div’s new Interdisciplinary Computational Graduate Education Program. This NSF-funded program will introduce students to how interdisciplinary teams working in the computational sciences can address some of the cutting edge questions of our times, learn lots of new skills, and network with colleagues from industry and the National Labs, all of which will better prepare them for a wide range of potential career options. In the fall we will hold a seminar series, and in December we will select 16 first year doctoral students to participate in the spring training program.
I especially encourage QSB first-year doctoral students, and even more so especially members of underrepresented U.S. minority groups and first-generation students to attend! Joy, could you please help me check if the qsb-grads list is fully updated and/or forward to them?
Thanks and cheers,
Dave
