I’ve revised the draft to reflect their comments as I understand them. Could you both confirm that I understood what you meant? If I didn’t, it would be helpful if you edited it.
In particular, Paty, are you thinking that if we got to a point where the grid is being run mostly by storage that it would be enough more reliable than the fossil fuel plants that we could reduce the needed reserve margin? See if I captured what you were thinking in the final paragraphs.

how much reserves could be reduced when more storage is in place in a grid, and
reductions in the cost of electricity due to having less reserves.

One of the queries is about what metrics should be used for storage - how to refine levelized cost of storage, or how to define a different metric.
I wrote a draft response. Because this is potentially directly related to our project, I thought I’d share it with you. I haven’t sent it in yet and will probably edit it once more before I do - let me know if you have comments...
