How can nutrition science help improve health outcomes in Latino communities?

NHMA and @national_dairy_council<https://www.instagram.com/national_dairy_council/> are supporting the next generation of leaders through the Emerging Leaders in Dairy Nutrition Science Scholarship<https://www.nhmamd.org/2026-nhma-emerging-leaders-in-dairy-nutrition-science-scholarship>. Three students will receive support to attend the 2026 NHMA Annual Conference and share their perspectives on nutrition, dairy science and health equity.

About the Scholarship
Three students will be selected to receive financial support to attend the 2026 NHMA Annual Conference (May 27-29, 2026) in Leesburg, VA, where they will have access to mentorship, networking and professional development opportunities.

Eligibility

  *   Be a current student (undergraduate, graduate or professional program).

  *   Demonstrate an interest in nutrition, dairy science and/or food systems.
  *   Be willing to repost the scholarship recipient announcement graphic(s).
  *   Attend the entire 2026 NHMA Annual Conference.
  *   Be willing to participate in an in-person, recorded interview at the 2026 NHMA Annual Conference to discuss conference experiences and key learnings related to nutrition and dairy science.
  *   Be willing to engage with and collaborate on social media posts regarding acceptance of the scholarship, your experience at the NHMA Annual Conference and key learnings on nutrition and dairy science.
