APPLICATIONS OPEN for CDPH's California Pathways into Public Health (Cal-PPH) Internship Program.

The Cal-PPH Program partners with participating local health departments (LHDs) across the state to provide training, hands-on work experience, and ongoing support to an undergraduate or graduate student studying public health or a related discipline through paid internships, offering students the unique opportunity to intern within their own community.

The Cal-PPH Internship Program includes professional development resources and engagement opportunities to support aspiring public health professionals. We are recruiting for up to 20 paid interns for the Fall 2023 semester.

Internship Program Details:
* Cohort dates are September 18 - December 15, 2023.
* Earn $15.50-18 per hour, depending on education and other factors.
* May work up to 29 hours per week.
* Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
* DACA and International students are eligible to apply.
* Onsite opportunities are available at potential Local Health Districts across the state. See attached flyer for specific locations.
