Together We Mentor: How to be a Resilient Premed

Are you a pre-med student? Do you want to gain insight on how to be a resilient pre-med student from a successful medical school applicant? Then this event is for you!

During this event pre-med students will hear from rising MS1's who will share advice and tips on how to be a resilient pre-med student. This event will allow attendees to expand their awareness on the path to medicine and also gain relevant knowledge on how to be a successful pre-med student.

Join us via zoom with our guest speaker to learn more about their path to medicine and why they chose to pursue a career as a physician.

Who can attend?

The event is open to all students interested in learning about the premed pathway and in their undergrad. Please fill-out the registration questionnaire in detail with your responses, which will be shared with speakers before the event. There will be a short Q&A at the end of the event.

TWM: The DACA Medical School Experience

Are you a current Pre-med student and DACA recipient? Interested in gaining knowledge on applying to DACA-friendly medical schools? Then consider attending Together We Mentor: The DACA Medical School Experience.

Through this event, students will have the opportunity to hear the stories of Yadira Bribiesca (MS4), Jasivet Chavez (MS1), and Aldana Garcia (MS2) and gain knowledge on applying to DACA-friendly medical schools, navigating financial aid, and receive advice on how to continue being a resilient DACA student in the healthcare field from healthcare professionals. This event will run for 50 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&A.

Join us via zoom with our guest speakers to learn more about their path to medicine and what motivated them throughout their journey.
