Message forwarded on behalf of the AAMC Situational Judgement Test:

Dear Medical School Applicant,

This email is to make you aware that a medical school you may be applying to is participating in the administration of the 2021 AAMC Situational Judgment Test (SJT).

Throughout the upcoming 2022 application cycle, the schools below will strongly encourage or require all applicants to complete the AAMC SJT:

  * Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
  *   Morehouse School of Medicine
  * University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine
  * University of California Davis School of Medicine

  * University of Minnesota Medical School Twin Cities

The assessment will be offered at no cost to applicants during this application cycle.

Registration is now open<https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-medical-school/article/aamc-sjt-eligibility-and-registration/> for the AAMC SJT. Through this assessment, aspiring medical students have another opportunity to demonstrate their grasp of pre-professional competencies for success in medical school. The AAMC SJT is a standardized exam that presents a series of hypothetical scenarios students may encounter in medical school. It asks examinees to evaluate the effectiveness of a series of behavioral responses to each scenario.

To help you prepare for the AAMC SJT Exam, the AAMC invites you to attend one of our upcoming webinars. During these webinars, we will provide an overview of the exam, the 2021 administration year, and give you the opportunity to ask questions directly to admissions representatives.
