Diversity in Health Networking Night 10/27 5:30 - 7:00 RSVP NOW



Hello all PreMed, PreHealth, Public Health Students!

I would like to invite you to a very special networking night occurring on October 27th from 5:30 - 7:00 with Doctors, Administration, Providers, Medical Residents from Valley Children's Hospital, Livingston Community Health, and the UC Merced Medical Education Department. At this event, you will engage and network with representatives from these organizations who are passionate about diversity trends in the healthcare field. If you are planning on applying to Medical School, a Health Professional School (Pharmacy, Physicians Assistance, Dentistry, Optometry, etc), Public Health, or a similar field, I highly suggest attending this event.

Many of the professional schools previously listed expect you to have an understanding of current issues in healthcare as part of their application process. By attending this event, regardless of background, it is my hope that you will become more familiar about programs, trends, and initiatives around diversity in healthcare topics.

You will also be able to meet with UC Merced student organizational leaders from Minority Association for PreMedical Students, Chicano/as in Health Education, Global Medical Brigade, Doctors without Borders, and PreMed Central.
