[UCM LIST: Healthprofadvising-l] Let's Go Pink First Ever Cancer Walk/Jog A Thon at UC Merced

Hello pre-health students,

The A.F.R.O. organization on campus representing Africans for Retention and Outreach will be hosting the first annual Cancer Walk/Jog -A-Thon on the UC Merced Campus on October 26th from 8:30am - 12:00pm. Let's Go Pink is an event on campus that will not only bring the community together but will inform students, parents, staff and the Merced community on how to become an advocate for Cancer. Cancer is not something that anyone should go through alone and with this event everyone will be aware of what needs to be done to help loved ones in this process and to raise money for chemotherapy surgeries along with other necessary surgeries. Walking or jogging for this cause will be the start of a loving and building community.

Food will be provided!
