Are you in a period of transition in your life? Whether you're a first-year student transitioning to UCM or preparing for medical school and life after college, you'll need new strategies and tools for optimal performance. Former AMSA President, Andrew Betancourt is visiting UC Merced on 10/22/19 at 6pm in SSB 170 to help you live as your highest self. We're covering material from personal finance to resume skills and personal growth, just to name a few. Andrew has experience in High-Performance training in areas such as advanced psychology, physiology, communication, and productivity. You will learn the specific habits that high performers practice daily. High performers in our case are referring to those who can obtain consistent success - top 15% in their respective fields - over a long period of time. The strategies that will be discussed are backed by science and experts across various professions and disciplines. Andrew will pull from his experience as an Intensivist Coordinator who oversees physician staffing of 4 Critical Care programs in the Bay Area. Simply put, you will not walk out of SSB 170 the same person. There's a fire inside you and it's time to learn the tools and strategies to help you bring it out. The world needs you at your best and you deserve it. Bring a pen, paper, and an open mind. Be ready to learn and grow.
