My name is Allie and I'm the program & scholarship specialist at Stanislaus Community Foundation in Modesto. I'm reaching out with an exciting opportunity! One of our donors has created a new scholarship for a Stanislaus County student (current college senior or recent graduate) planning to attend medical school next year in the 2019-2020 school year. Applicants must be a resident of Stanislaus County. This is a one-time scholarship being offered only in this year's application cycle. The recipient will receive $10,000 per year and can renew the scholarship each year for the full 4 years of medical school.

The Stanislaus County Medical School Scholarship is part of our Universal Application process. Students can apply to multiple scholarship opportunities at one time by following this link (https://app.smarterselect.com/programs/53524-Stanislaus-Community-Foundation). They can also access the Universal Scholarship Application and read about our other scholarships on our Scholarships page<https://www.stanislauscf.org/receive/scholarships/>. Stanislaus County Medical School Scholarship applicants will complete our universal application and then answer an additional page of questions specific to this unique scholarship opportunity. Applicants must provide a digital (unofficial) copy of their college transcripts as well as their Student Aid Report as generated by the FAFSA or Dream Act. The application deadline is 11:59pm PST on March 15, 2019.
