The AAMC invites you to attend the Minority Student Medical Career Awareness Workshops and Recruitment Fair on Saturday, November 3, 2012

Moscone Center North, San Francisco, CA.

 

The Minority Student Medical Career Awareness Workshops and Recruitment Fair is sponsored by the AAMC and held during its Annual Meeting.  College and high school students, parents, prehealth advisors, school administrators, and other interested individuals are invited to participate in the following activities:

.         meet diversity affairs, admissions, PhD, and MD-PhD program directors and administrators from U.S. medical schools along with other health professions school administrators

.         listen to panel discussions about the pathways to become a physician and medical researcher

.         learn about Aspiring Docs resources and the SMDEP program

.         participate in hands-on medical and health activities and more

 

Prehealth advisor are invited to listen to the most current MCAT and AMCAS information along with a biomedical PhD and MD-PhD program session.  Mingle with college and graduate students as they "Explore the Possibilities in Medicine."
