Overview: ED Volunteers provide support and assistance to the Emergency Department staff, patients and families from the time they present to the Emergency Department for care until they are discharged.  While there may be opportunities for assisting staff with the provision of some clinical care, the focus of this position is meeting the needs of patients and families for comfort and service.
