Hello Blanca,

Our office does not employ off campus WS employers out of state. I believe this issue came up a few years back though and we needed to consult with our UCLA HR representatives on what was allowed.
If memory serves me correctly they recommended we pay CA rates but we never proceeded with the contract of the agency. Hopefully this helps!

Quick question.  Are any of you allowing off-campus WSP employers from outside the state of california?  if yes, and the student is working remotely, what is the hourly rate that you are approving for the student? the CA rate or the out-of state rate?
