Underworld: Belize takes us alongside UC Merced archeology professor Holley Moyes as she explores ancient Maya ritual cave use on the eve of the Maya collapse.

Recent paleoclimate data indicate that at the apogee of ancient Maya civilization, a severe drought shook the very foundations of their world, toppling the political structure and forever changing Maya history.
