Some news on the recent climate change memorial, below, from Justin Yeakel.

the proposed climate memorial … pass[ed] with 84% voting yes … UC Merced had the highest proportionate response out of all UCs (41% responding, compared to the next highest UCSC with 28.5% responding). UCM also had the highest percent voting yes … now it goes to the Regents.

Memorial:
The University of California Academic Senate petitions the Regents for investments in UC’s infrastructure that will reduce on-campus fossil fuel combustion by at least 60% of current levels by 2030 and by 95% of current levels by 2035.
