[Sustainability-listserv-f] Sustainability faculty profiles - invitation

To increase the profile of sustainability work being undertaken by faculty, the Faculty Advisory Committee on Sustainability (FACS) is interested in publishing a series of profiles on the campus Sustainability website.  We would be very grateful if you would bring this opportunity to the notice of your faculty.  We invite any faculty working in sustainability to send a short (~1000 word, total) profile to sustainabilitynews at ucmerced.edu<mailto:sustainabilitynews at ucmerced.edu>. The text should include
(1) your name,
(2) your school & department & any professional appointments
(3) a short paragraph on each of the following:
your research,
your teaching in sustainability, especially the courses you teach and the learning outcomes,
“How did you get engaged with sustainability?”
“How is your teaching and/or research in sustainability making a difference?”
(4) a list of research grants in sustainability in the past 5 years
(5) several photos that illustrate the profile.

Our goal is to update the feature once every 2-4 weeks, but we will be happy to update it more often if there are enough submissions, so we heartily encourage people to submit.
After being used for the highlight, the posts will be archived and still available online and linked to the list of sustainability faculty, here<https://sustainability.ucmerced.edu/facs/sustainability-faculty-0>.
