Dear Hiring Managers,

Hiring Managers and Supervisors play a crucial role in the development and success of student employees, helping students gain valuable work experience and develop essential workplace skills.  Supervisors also help students connect with campus resources they need, not only when performing their job responsibilities but also those they may need in order to be successful as a UC Merced student.

You are invited to join a new Supervisors of Student Employee, Community of Practice to support you in your supervisor role.

Our first meeting is September 3 at 2:30pm in Conference Center 105.

Topics include:

  *   New Resources: Student Employee and Supervisor Handbook
  *   New Resource:  Student Employee Transferrable Skills & Self-Assessment
  *   Stay Connected: Introducing Student Supervisor Best Practices Group on Teams
  *   Discussing Your Topics of Interest for Future Meetings
