Handshake<https://studentjobs.ucmerced.edu/handshake> for on-campus recruitment is now live!

Important Reminders:


  *   Hiring managers and other candidate pool reviewers will continue to have access to CatPAWS to view applicants who applied to active recruitments up to the cutoff date of December 11, 2020.


It is strongly encouraged that applications in the legacy system (CatPAWS) are reviewed and downloaded for future reference before December 31, 2020.  Access to CatPAWS will end on January 4, 2021.

Please note:  If a pool was active as of the cutoff date (12/11/20), the active recruitment was transitioned to Handshake and will continue to receive applicants until the close date.


  *   In Phase 1 of the on-campus deployment of the Handshake platform, candidate information will be delivered via email to designated “Applicant Reviewers”.

  *   The interview and intake process have not changed.  Once a finalist is identified; the Student Intake Request<https://studentjobs.ucmerced.edu/form/student-intake-request> form must be completed to initiate a new hire intake and/or processing into the UCPath system.


  *   Phase 2 will begin in Spring 2021. Student Employment Services will be working with employer representatives to deliver expanded Handshake system functionality to users.
