[Student Employment]

Dear Colleague,

This is a reminder to please complete the survey sent out last week on behalf of the Student Employment Workgroup.  Your response important! If you have already completed this survey, thank you.  If not, there’s still time.  We have extended the deadline until 5 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

The survey asks for the number of in-person and remote student positions you expect to employ for the upcoming academic year, as well as utilization of Federal Work Study eligible students.

Due to our current environment, it may be necessary to redistribute FWS positions to departments who express a need for remote student workers. Information from the survey will be used to aid in the assignment of FWS positions.  We encourage you to consider your student employment needs and identify your interest in receiving one (or more) of these positions, even if you have not traditionally had FWS positions.
