Graduate Student Writing Group

The Graduate Division will host a virtual writing group for the UC Merced graduate community. The Graduate Writing Group provides graduate students with writing support and accountability. Writing sessions will include an accountability check-in for students to set and share writing goals and a check-out to share what was completed during the writing time. Sessions will be divided into 25-minute writing intervals followed by a 5-minute break. Writer's will be muted and kept on camera mode to ensure everyone is working to reach their writing goal. Students who attend the writing group will have their name entered into a giveaway drawing.
