Dear Graduate Services,

My name is Colleen Bertuccio and I am the Operations Manager at CITRIS. I am reaching out because we would like to share an opportunity for graduate students to participate in a USDA funded training program. We are currently recruiting graduate students to apply for the HSI Fellows UC Merced Future Ag Researchers in Middle School (FARMERS) program. FARMERS supports students by providing one year of financial support including summer funding, funds for conference travel, up to $1000 for research supplies, and experiential learning about agriculture and engagement in education. This program is led by Dr. Rudy Ortiz and aims to produce graduates capable of enhancing the nation's food and agricultural scientific and professional workforce.
