Dear enthusiasts of the SLAAM seminars,
We are excited to resume the Soft Living Active and Adaptive Matter (SLAAM) series after an eventful APS March Meeting. To make up for the lost time, we will have three SLAAM seminars on consecutive Mondays beginning next week.
The next seminar on Monday, March 28th at 9 am (Pacific)/12 noon Eastern US time will be given by Dr. Eldad Afik ( California Institute of Technology, CA).

Dr. Eldad Afik is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology and a Research Specialist I at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He works with Prof. Elliot Meyerowitz on spatio-temporal dynamics in organismal development and interaction with the environment. As usual, graduate students will have an opportunity to interact with the speaker in an informal setting during "Meet the speaker hour" just after the talk. Please join if the time works for you. Please note that this time is reserved for graduate students only.
