We are excited to bring to you a special Soft Living Active and Adaptive Matter (SLAAM)  this coming Monday,  March 7th at 9 am (Pacific)/12 noon Eastern US. Please check the date and time carefully because we are going out of cycle for a bit in view of the APS March meeting week when we will have no seminar. I also regret any possible past issues with time zone conversions. This seminar will be given by Dr. Anna Lappala ( Harvard University, MA).

Dr. Lappala is currently an instructor in Investigation at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital.  She uses Molecular Dynamics simulations, polymer theory and differential geometry to study knots and entanglement in soft and biological matter. As usual, graduate students will have an opportunity to interact with the speaker in an informal setting during "Meet the speaker hour" just after the talk. Please join if the time works for you.
