Dear enthusiasts of the SLAAM seminars,
We are excited to announce that the next Soft Living Active and Adaptive Matter seminar will be next Monday Sep 13th at 9 am (PDT)/12 noon EDT/5 pm Central European Time. This seminar will be given by Dr. Ed Bannigan (MIT).
Title: How polymer-loop-extruding motors shape chromosomes
Dr. Bannigan is a postdoctoral associate working with the Mirny group at MIT, and is studying the mechanics of chromosome organization with theory, simulations and data analysis.
