This is a reminder that this seminar will start soon at the hour!
We are excited to announce that the next Soft Living Active and Adaptive Matter seminar will be next Monday, Oct 25th at 9 am (PDT)/12 noon EDT/5 pm Central European Time. This seminar will be given by Dr. Hannah Yevick (Massachussets Institute of Technology, Boston).
Title: Making connections: how epithelial tissues guarantee folding
Dr. Hannah Yevick is a NIH K99/R00 postdoctoral investigator at MIT working with Dr. Adam Martin. She will transition to an Assistant Professor at Brandeis University in the department of Physics beginning Summer 2022. Her research focuses on interpreting the mechanics of developmental robustness in early embryos using quantitative approaches. .
