Dear Jay,

My lab just got a NSF supplement to our Consortium for Plant Invasion
Genomic grant (www.invasiongenomics.com) to hire a postdoc and I was hoping
you might know of a soon-to-graduate PhD student that would be interested
in the position. I attached a potential job ad here describing the
position. This supplement requires that the successful applicant come from
a Minority Serving Institution (although does not necessarily need to be
from an underrepresented group).

I use the word 'potential' when referring to the job ad above because the
money has not been officially awarded yet, but the start date for the
postdoc has to be in the next 6 months. Thus, please do not forward the job
ad around an entire department or externally yet, just to students that may
be interested in talking with me about the position.
