Hello Sexton lab,
For our next lab meeting we are going to be joining Joy Baccei in transplanting some native lilies on the reserve before they get destroyed from construction. Pop in when you can. The event starts at 9 and ends at noon. Please register for the event by the end of the week so she can get a head count.
I have extra gloves I can bring, and will bring some waters. Let me know if you have any questions.

Can you please share the following MVPGR Stewardship Opportunity for 3/17 at your earliest convenience with students via email, social media?

Come celebrate environmental stewardship here on campus! The UC Merced Vernal Pools and Grassland Reserve (MVPGR) will be hosting a Stewardship Day event on Monday 9am-12pm, March 17th at the MVPGR road entrance. Help us salvage and pot native lilies before road widening construction work begins over Spring Break. Let’s protect and save these beautiful lily flowers together! 🌸
