An old message, but a great group to join. And the annual meeting in Chico
is always a fun and deep botanical dive.

Best,

Jay

Dear Northern California botany enthusiast,

Northern California Botanists (NCB) is a volunteer-run non-profit and we
rely on membership dues and donations to fund our expansive Barbara Castro
student botany research scholarship program, our new Dean Taylor botanical
exploration award (for students and non-students), pay for
travel/registration stipends for students to attend symposia, and to help
offset the cost of our (almost) yearly botany symposia. We hope that you
will consider becoming a member (or renewing your membership if it has
lapsed) so that we can continue supporting and celebrating botany in
Northern California. Annual membership dues are kept low to encourage
membership and participation in the organization. Dues are $15 for
students/limited income, $25 regular, and $40 for family, small business,
or non-profit. You can become a member or renew on our website or find
directions there to pay by check. Thank you for your continued support!

Borokini, Cherilyn Burton, Kerry Byrne, Lawrence Janeway, Kristen
Kaczynski, Len Lindstrand III, Teresa Sholars, Joseph Silveira, and Daria
Snider.
