Hi everyone!

Just a reminder that our first ES seminar of the semester is this
afternoon, featuring a representative of the Delta Stewardship Council.

As you may recall, we are shifting to a system of every-other-week
seminars. Part of the aim is to be able to bring in more out-of-state
speakers - so please start thinking about nominations for next year!

Please let your lab members who are not formally part of ES (eg postdocs or
grad students from other programs) know where they can find this
information!  Feel free also to forward the link to your undergraduate
students - attending research talks can be a big inspiration for those who
may be considering graduate school.



The room is free in alternate weeks, so if you have a grad student or
postdoc who wants to give a public talk - we have the option to schedule
them in then!  If interested in this option, please contact me and the
seminar leads (Abel Chuang and Gerardo Diaz).
