[Sextonlabmeeting] Research and professional advice: Lab Meeting this Monday (Dec. 6th) at 1 pm, SE1 200

Hi Folx!

This will be the last lab meeting of the semester. I'm sorry I couldn't get
this out sooner, but please read this professional advice document I wrote
before we meet if possible. It's non-technical--easy reading!

My students know I've been working on this off and on for a few years, but
I finally have a complete first version. I'd love your feedback on it.

Also, as a discussion primer, please come to lab meeting ready to discuss
one challenge or barrier that you're finding difficult to get past right
now in completing your work or research. Importantly, how are you currently
planning to overcome this challenge?

celebrate Brandon having been offered a post-doc position. First shout is
