Hi Everyone!

So, lab meetings this fall will occur on Mondays, starting at either 1 pm
or 1:30 pm. I'm sorry for the confusion of having varying start times, but
this was the best compromise for me to include as many people as possible.
This year I am Chair of the UCM Senate Committee on Research, and some of
those meetings conflicted with a regular Monday lab meeting when most of my
students can meet.

Graduate students and post-grads, please be encouraged to sign up to
facilitate a meeting at your earliest convenience, whether you are advised
by me or not.

Our first meeting will be Aug. 30th at 1:30 pm in SE1 200, where all
meetings will be this semester. During this meeting we will get to know one
another and discuss some themes and topics to explore for the semester.
We'll also fill up the schedule for the semester.

I'll be bringing snacks as usual, so let me know if you have any food
allergies or dietary restrictions.
