Please join us for the 2020 SJ Hall Lecture in Industrial Forestry
tomorrow, 10/16, at 4:30pm.  To access the virtual event, please visit

This year's lecture, titled "Tribal Forestry: The Intersection of
Industrial and Indigenous Forest Management," focuses on the timber
programs of tribes in California and beyond - what makes them unique, what
successes they have seen, and what challenges they face.  A question and
answer session open to the audience will follow the event.

The event will be moderated by Peter Wakeland, Chief of the Forestry and
Wildland Fire Management Division for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and
member of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde.  It will feature the
following panelists:

   - Tim Hayden, Executive Deputy Director of the Natural Resources
   Division for the Yurok Tribe; Member of the El Dorado County Wopumnes
   Nisenan-Mewuk Tribe
   - Dr. Mike Dockry, Assistant Professor in the Department of Forest
   Resources, University of Minnesota; Member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation
   - Dawn Blake, Wildlife Biologist for the Hoopa Valley Tribe; Member of
   the Hoopa Valley Tribe
