*Come meet your fellow researchers and Sierra Nevada enthusiasts! The UC
Merced Yosemite and Sequoia Field Stations are co-hosting a UCM-NPS
research social on Tuesday, January 30. *National park resource managers,
including biologists, hydrologists, fire scientists, social scientists,
historians, and visitor use planners will discuss their current and future
work.



*Faculty, staff, and grad students interested in working in Yosemite and/or
Sequoia National Parks are invited to:*

   - Meet park scientists to discuss collaborations
   - Learn about park research interests, how to apply for research
   permits, and park data available to researchers
   - Showcase your professional interests in a brief lightning talk (<3 min)
   - Enjoy refreshments and good company at the Yosemite Bug Resort



*When:* *Tuesday, January 30, 2018*. Social begins at 2pm, presentations
start at 3pm
