Subject: Exciting new job opportunities at CNPS California Native Plant
Society
To: Herbarium <herbarium at csuchico.edu>
I don’t usually send around job announcements. But CNPS is so central to
all aspects of conservation of native plants in California that I am
forwarding their information about 3 positions that they are currently
recruiting to fill. BTW, Northern California Botanists have a Jobs Board
on their web site for advertising and finding such job announcements:
www.norcalbotanists.org/jobs.htm.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Will you please help us to get the word out and find great candidates for
these important positions? Because this is so important, we hope you will
please send to anyone you think would be good, and of course share widely
among your network.
Job descriptions for these three positions are available at
www.cnps.org/cnps/jobs/:
-- Development Director
-- Rare Plant Treasure Hunt Manager
-- Important Plant Areas Program Manager
Review of applications for the IPA position has started and will continue
until it is filled. Review of applications for the others begin April 2nd
Thank you in advance.

10,000 members and thousands of volunteers, organized across 35 chapters
covering all of California and Northern Baja California, Mexico, hold

You received this message because you are on an e-mail list that was
created at the Chico State Herbarium from a compilation of botanists in
northern California, and adjacent Oregon and Nevada, who are members of or
have done business with the following organizations and projects. We do
not share this list outside of this group of organizations. This is not a
discussion group or listserv.
Northern California Botanists (NCB) (www.norcalbotanists.org).
Friends of The Chico State Herbarium (http://www.
friendsofthechicostateherbarium.com/).
Studies From The Herbarium (www.csuchico.edu/herbarium/
studies/detailed-book-list.shtml).
And anyone else we can think of associated with botany in northern
California and adjacent Oregon and Nevada.
If you would like to be removed from this list, please let us know with a
short reply to this message.
If you were forwarded this message and would like to be added to the list,
please let us know c/o ljaneway at csuchico.edu.
My promise: these emails will never include any attachments, fancy graphics
or page layouts, or long explanations; they will be simply titled so you
can easily delete those that don’t apply to you, and contain minimal
explanatory text by providing web links to where you can find more
information about the single topic presented. --Lawrence Janeway, NCB
board member
