Thank you to the 26 of you who voted! Polls are closed and Yumary Vasquez has reined in as your new QSB representative. Let’s welcome Yumary!

There are no set rules for representation. We can have more than one representative! Sammy Villa was nominated several times and I would encourage Sammy to come forward and work with Yumary as a team. At this point, that is up to them.

QSB Graduate Student Representative Nominations

Position Description:

  *   Sits on the QSB Executive Committee (QSB EC) which meets between 2–6 times an academic calendar year
  *   Sits on the Graduate Student Association (GSA) as a Delegate Assembly member which meets between 1-2 per month to discuss graduate student needs
  *   Serves as a representative for all QSB graduate students
  *   Solicits concerns, feedback, and perspectives of the QSB graduate student community to QSB Faculty, SNS Staff, Graduate Division, and the Graduate Student Association
  *   May be called to represent QSB in campus-wide initiatives
  *   Help the QSB chair facilitate the QSB retreat
