Scott Souza got a travel award from Woods Hole Immunoparasitology (WHIP)
meeting and also gave a talk there last month. (Attendees are from all over
the world). He will also be giving a talk at an international Toxo
conference in June (which will be held in Colombia). Great work!
Make sure to add a slide about QSB to help with recruitment. Marjorie has
made some over here: https://graduatedivision.ucmerced.edu/node/14751
Jasper Toscani Field got an NSF ASSURE fellowship to spend 8 weeks in China
this summer doing research on supercomputing for next generation sequence
data!

I am jealous that his committee will get to hear about it before I do!
Well done!
