Dear Colleagues,

Next week we’ll be hosting plant Sara Baguskas from SFSU for QSB seminar.

>From Sara's website (https://www.sarabaguskas.com/):

"I am a plant ecophysiologist broadly interested in how local meteorology
and climate variability impact plant function and distributions. The focus
of my research is on understanding the influence of coastal fog on plant
water and carbon relations in both natural and managed ecosystems. I use a
variety of research techniques, including field-based ecological studies,
controlled manipulative experiments, and spatial analyses to address
research questions at multiple spatial and temporal scales."

Sara is a very engaging speaker and fun to talk with. Please sign up to
meet with Sara in this Google Sheet and make sure to select the correct tab
with her Name and Date:

Also, feel free to join us for dinner on Friday. Location TBD, but
probably Turmeric.

All the best,

Jay
