[QSB-grads] An article that highlights the importance of welcoming diversity

Dear QSB members,
In the many discussions we have related to diversity, I have yet to hear
the points made in this article. The major take-away from it for me is
that when there is cultural and systematic marginalization of individuals,
it becomes very easy for those individuals to become the recipients of
blame for the poor choices and crimes of others. I hope that UC Merced is
/ becomes a place that is above this tendency, one where people remain
personally accountable for their own choices. Happy reading:
