Did you compete in GradSLAM! last year or the year before? If
yes, great! Compete again this year to further practice and perfect your
public speaking and presentation skills, and take another shot at the big
prize. Speaking of, did we mention there are monetary awards for advancing
through the competition?

Qualifying Round - March 14th: 10 finalists win $250, an invitation to
lunch with the Vice Provost and Graduate Dean Marjorie Zatz, and one-on-one
coaching with speaking professionals

Final Round - April 18th: First Runner-Up wins $1,500; Second Runner-Up
wins $500; Campus Champion wins $5,000 and will represent our campus in the
system-wide competition

System-wide Competition - May 10th: Overall Champion wins $6,000!

The Graduate Division will host preparatory workshops beforehand on public
