Hi Miriam and Mike,

Thanks for sending your requests. I have added Miriam and QSB student list to the enviro-lunch email list. Let me know if you have any issue to receive the announcement.

Regrading the event list, “Pitch your research” will be our first formal event, and the planning team have been working on it since October. It took us some time to develop and coordinate. Other than that, several informal meetup or happy hour have been organized. A list of informal events is provided below. We have invited students and postdocs from different programs for the happy hour using the ESEE/GW mailing list and a postdoc list, but I apologize for my inexperience for not sending the official announcements. In the long run, we will send out official announcements for all the events and cc them to the director of each program. Also, I wonder have you all gotten the announcement of “Pitch your research” from the School of Nature Sciences? I wonder if it is helpful?

Overall, I am glad you point it out, and I really appreciate your request and advices. Also, although we have some ideas for future events, any suggestion that could promote the interactions between programs is welcomed. Please feel free to contact me, if you have any idea or suggestion.
