If you are interested in tutoring Stats or Writing , here is how to apply
for these positions. We had enough interest that this seems easiest to
send out a mass email response.

*Statistics and Writing Tutor Positions Available*
Each year, the Graduate Division has funds to support one or two graduate
students each semester to serve as tutors for other graduate students who
would like help with statistics or writing. These positions are currently
available for the Spring 2019 semester. Students may apply through the
links below, and they may contact Associate Dean Chris Kello (
*ckello at ucmerced.edu* <ckello at ucmerced.edu>) if there are any questions
about the positions.
Each position may be the equivalent of half a regular TAship (10 hours per
week, can be paired with other funding), or a regular TAship (20 hours per
week, not pairable with other funding). Applications will be evaluated
based on prior statistics, writing, and tutoring/instructional experience.
